Creating volume discounts in your DecoNetwork web store

Volume discounts are a great way to encourage your customers to buy more and these can be easily setup in your DecoNetwork web store.

  1. Log into your DecoNetwork website
  2. Browse to Manage Fulfillment Center > Fulfillment Settings and select “Configure Discounts
  3. Select “Add Discount Level” to enter two values:
    1. More than: When a  customer buys more than the value entered they receive the discount
    2. Discount: The % discount the customer will receive
  4. Create as many discount levels as you want. i.e.:

The discount table will appear on your DecoNetwork web store for your customers to see:

If a customer increases their quantity and a discount comes into affect this discount amount will be displayed in the online designer:

Styling your discount display

The discount use the <span id=”discount”></span> tag therefore you can use the #discount style your discount display with CSS.

Here is an example of a quick style I created:

CSS:

#discount {
  background: url(/uploads/10343058/File/save_discount.png);
  color:#000000;
  float:left;
  font-size:22px;
  font-weight:bold;
  height:35px;
  width:100px;
  padding: 10px 0px 0px 50px;
}

In this example I used a background image and changed the font size, color and weight.

Add your custom CSS to:

  1. Manage Store > Appearance > Customize Template CSS
  2. Select the “Create Custom CSS” tab
  3. Enter your custom CSS and select “Save CSS” to keep the changes.

Of course the font, color, size and background graphic is completely up to you.

Hi Stefan, You can apply the same CSS to any class or ID in the site. So in the case of the price on the front page use the class: .det_price span { background: url(/uploads/10343058/File/save_discount.png); color:#000000; float:left; font-size:22px; font-weight:bold; height:35px; width:100px; padding: 10px 0px 0px 50px; }

Hi Brenden, I test it it and it works in the designer, if a customer wants to buy from the catalog it will not shown up. Any chance to do this?
