Are there any plans to get around this in the future. This seems uneeded especially for repeat customers.

thinkshirt wrote: Initial feedback adding on to Tommy:

  1. Need that CSS/HTML support
  2. More control from our end on shipping and payment methods since each store would vary. Basically from our end I would like to see a lot of customization like an affiliate store but from the users end its simple as it is
  3. Deco's white label is NOT reallly white label. The footer shouldn't have the DecoNetwork logo etc. when users are logged in. There are links there as well which is just super confusing for the customers
  4. Ability to change/edit designs etc. especially from our end

More thoughts to come soon.

I was just about to comment on the shopping cart as well. Because each campaign is a unique domain, this poses a problem with shipping and payment options since it uses the default which WE DO NOT WANT. We want to set specific cart options for ALL campaigns.

Another problem is the Invoice - it's using the fulfillment logo. There are a few conflicts with that.
1 - If the campaign creator uploads a logo for their own branding, then it shows it the cart header. Good. But then it needs to show on the invoice as well.
2 - There needs to be a way to modify the Invoice on a least a sub-domain level. Maybe we ant to allow their logo, but include ours for branding (even if smaller (ie: powered by XYZ Tees). Likely, this can be done already to ad least remove the fulfillment logo and replace with a campaign logo - I'll give a try.

In regards to wholesale price, assuming I am correct from my tests, the wholesale price is the COST of the store.

If I want to use my standard retail pricing, then my only option at this point is to create a new store and set the prices accordingly.

I would much prefer to set the campaign wholesale price at the store level just as I set my retail prices but as a separate option.

To add to Tommy's and Thinkshirt suggestions here are mine.

1 If you're in step 4 "Add Details" and then if for any reason you want to go back to any of the previous steps to make edits or whatever, it won't let you if you don't fill the details which makes it confusing and illogical since you want to go backwards, so if you make this change will be less confused people.

2 Having the subdomain and domain fields in the same line along with a text tip would be less confusing for the less savvy people, see my graphic

3 Adding a first name field to use in the welcome emails instead of the email username would be better than just a random name used in the email, see the graphic.

Yes, definitely we need more control in setting different wholesale prices as need it in a campaign by campaign bases.

PULLING IT ALL TOGETHER

Like a store template, let us create a Campaign Template.
This would allow us to create custom CSS & HTML to apply to all campaigns

This would include
- All steps of campaign setup
- Cart

Finally, let us filter sub-domains available at the store level. In other words, let me choose what sub-domain is available for a campaign, depending upon which site it originates, This should be done for affiliate stores sub-domains as well.

Cheers all. Good feedback. We'll look at what we can do for the initial launch and raise future improvement requests for the others.

Not sure if this has been posted or not - but I think that we should be allow campaigns to last as long as we want from the fulfillment center - Obviously a year would be excessive, but I don't think that 60 days is too long.

Also, I want some stores to have the options for creating campaigns (like my school spirit store) but others I don't want to even see it as an option for their site (private company sites). Is there a way to do this in the Fulfillment backend? Can I select "Never" on the general campaign settings but manually add if from my backend onto select stores?

Hi Guys ,

A heads up on how the pricing is worked out (wholesale pricing).
We have spent a fair bit of time on this getting it right , so good to explain.

The pricing is from your Fulfillment center (wholesale rate).
However , it spreads any general costs over your goal amount. This means it spreads any screen print setup fees and or affiliate transaction fees over the total qty evenly , upping your wholesale rate.

This also effects your min qty as you can sell for a loss

Qty discounts are also applied to the wholesale rate, this is a win for the campaign owner , however bulk discounts cant be passed onto the consumer..

This is why you will be seeing a wholesale rate different as it accounts for all of these extra factors.

When the campaign has finished , all the orders within the campaign are recalculated as 1 large order to obtain the real wholesale rate, depending on the amount sold and the actual profit is then derived.

So , quite a lot happening in the background , but you have to do all of this if you want to give a real estimate on Campaign profit.. and Pay the real profit once the campaign has ended:)

Im sure you have questions :).

My Two Cents -

I'm going to default to Teespring because I follow everything they do, they are the fastest growing start up in our industry and honestly I think they have nailed it when it comes to a fundraising/campaign based platform.

Things I See That Need To Improve/Change/Be Added

1. Allow them to add more than one product. (I can see where the issues may lie with this but it needs to happen STAT)

1.5. Would love to see a DTG>SCR feature so every campaign will print. qty 1-11 prints DTG and 12+ gets screened or just follows whatever you have set up in the fulfillment center. It would also be better if you could just make this the default because a lot of campaign owners don't know the difference between the two and most likely don't care. So lets not confuse them :) (I would love to see this at the Store level too!!)

2. Allow fulfilment owner to turn off decoration processes......embroidery for me as an example.

3. Add verbage about minimums being met so the customer knows that the product will be printed even if they do not reach goal

4. Auto re-launch feature that the campaign owner can activate so they can comfortably promote their campaign right up to the end without wasting money.

5. Checkout is clunky, issue with stores too. (Want to throw this in because I think it is one of the biggest flaws of the deco platform and will be even more evident on mobile. I think it's great that the campaign feature looks good on mobile but it's pointless if it's a pain in the ass to checkout)
It's much better than before now that basic mobile optimization has been done but we should try for a one page checkout. Just click on this campaign on teespring.com/twitch/desteeny and begin the checkout process to see what I mean.....for both campaigns and stores.

6. As an fulfillment owner I would like to be able to brand the campaign feature so campaigns will create more campaigns. I like the fact that the campaign owner can brand their campaign but would like to brand the footer with our logo and a Create campaign link.

7. We need to be able to add in a handling fee into our campaign feature. I have this figured in for DTG but not for Screen Printing and there is a big difference between putting 100 shirts into a box and shipping out 100 packages.

8. ability for designer to count number of colors. (This alone will create total havoc for everyone doing screen printing and we need to allow customers to upload PNG's)

9. Affiliate needs to be able to plug in tracking and retargeting pixels

10. Campaign dashboard so affiliate can see all the campaigns they are running and perhaps past ones

11. Ability to pay out affiliate as soon as campaign ends not after the shirts have shipped. This is pretty crucial for stores too.

12. Allow Affiliate to preview their campaign before they launch so they can see the logo, banner, description and Shirt

13. Would like to see the ability for Store Owners To Run Campaigns on their URL. Make this a option that the fulfillment center can turn on and off. Would also like to be able to dictate the default URL they can choose from (These two statements are two in the same I guess)

14. Because I didn't want to end on 13 :) **Edit we need a place to post the return policy**

Overall, I think we have a great start!! Good Job Greg and everyone else involved.

Hi Guys,

Really appreciate the feedback everyone has been posting , keep it coming.

In terms of development , if we were to develop all the requested features it would be another 6 months or so till launch.
We are going to tackle the development in a couple of stages. We have currently created a good architecture to build upon and flesh out a little more and this will be campaigns versions 1.

I see version two having things like multiple products and multiple campaign management for a campaign owner. (based on your guys feedback of whats important).

Some of the feedback (especially Cortez latest) really benefits the platform as a whole , not just campaign stuff , so again great feedback here.

Keep the feedback coming and looking forward to seeing some successful campaigns being run.

I'm happy to see that point 1 and 3 have been implemented, I hope that point 2 is still in consideration. :)

Thank you for considering our feedback, looking forward to see implemented the rest of great suggestion from the others too.

Is there a way to fix how the "share" integration when Facebook displays the t-shirt. Right now it cuts off the top of the shirt.
