Hey Brenden,

how about a teaser with the designer on DN8? :)

That's fantastic! Would love to see a video like this of the product page. We've had to heavily customize our current site with html and css ... hoping to be able to move forward with the new platform without having to do this. Especially interested in being able to modify how pricing is displayed. For instance, we use price tables so a customer can see pricing for various qtys. Will we be able to easily accomplish this or will css be needed? See here for an example:

Hi,

Essentially each component is exposed as an option so you can decided what style of that option appears (i.e. small or large product image), plus where it displays (top, side, etc.).

It gives a lot of flexibility but also ensures it can act like a configurable system that is easily managed by anyone, even without web design skills.

That combined with the theme or custom CSS will give some amazing results. Here is a quick screen shot of the Product page.

Hi Brenden, I guess the big question with all these retooling features to design, will it all be responsive? Especially for a smart phone?

Hi,

Absolutely! This is the primary reason for DN8. 100% responsive including the online designer.

Once released, will existing plans automatically be updated to 8?
Or will there be a new plan and price increase to be able to use 8?

Deco doesn’t charge for updates to new versions so you can migrate once it’s available on Yue current plan.

And will this level of editing be available on all plans, including Standard?

Hi,

All levels will contain the new editing methods however the higher levels will have greater capability and flexibility in terms of page design tools available.

Looks great and finally catching up with modern design and creation for websites, I can't wait to get started and using it!! was about to ditch the website front end but if this is as good as you say then I'll hold on..
any BETA testers required? I would be happy to play around with it to test

Hi Brendan,

I notice a bit over a couple of months ago you mentioned this would be ready in a couple of months.

We're just about to set up some new sites so I am wondering if you have a better idea of timeline yet?
