Header image change per page

1 year 4 months ago #16714 by toffeshirts
Hi,

Is there a way to change the header for every category page?

For example, in stead of the image www.toffeshirts.nl/cimages/ppr/create/he...1388527&v=1489045149 on every page a different image for a different category.

I like to have this image: www.toffeshirts.nl/uploads/11388527/Image/headers/2786.jpg on this page: www.toffeshirts.nl/create/2786?c=3885592 and so on.....

Thanks for the reply!

Do you mean the full website wide header or the individual page content head image?

If you take a look at the page link i put in, then go to another page on site - if that's what you're after then easy :)

You upload your images to the custom CSS area & then pop that link in to the body content for the applicable web page under the source tab

if you haven't done this before I can take some screen shots OR ring support and they should be able to talk you through it

I'm assuming you can find your way around the new system :) admin-websites-select site-manage etc

Website pages / select the page
body content then select "source"

code = </p><img alt="Embroidered Polo Shirt Offer" src="/uploads/10607098/File/polo-shirt.jpg" /></p>

alt text is what you want to set it to
key part is "......." after source which is the image from your CSS (see next reply)

Setting the CSS image:

branding & appearance
customise template css
create custom css
select file/image

at bottom of pop up box there's a choose file, do that & select your banner image & upload it
when that's done click on the link that's appeared in your custom css box
At the bottom of the box you now have the link along the lines of

/uploads/10607098/File/Call%20to%20action.jpg

in the selected file box

copy it

Go back to the webpage you want the image to appear from above

over write the link in the code - make sure you overwrite it exactly as missing or adding something means it won't show

Thanks for the reply!!

That one I knew ;)
We have created pages per Brand f.e. "Adidas" is toffeshirts.nl/create/adidas-?c=3885597

Those are all like..." domain/create/....." all those pages have an header image, the same header image, which I think is automated by the system (/cimages/ppr/create/header?1489132558&b=11388527&v=1489132558).

My question was/is, can we change that image, for each different page / brand

F.e. "Adidas" has a different image than "Nike".....

The t-shirt>decorate>decorated shirt image will be in the body content for each page I'm guessing?
When you go to the created page in admin is the image shown in the body content? If so it's just as above

If you follow the steps shown all you need to do is overwrite the image link (/upload etc) on the page with the image you require.

If it's not coming in the body content I'd suggest phoning support on Monday & asking them about it, if it's hard coded I can't help at all, sorry

I'm in office for half an hour if you want to call to discuss (nice quiet saturday morning!)

Thanks, I guess it is hard coded, they're not realy pages but categories, which are not shown in teh pages section so there is no body to adjust per individual categorie/page......

Thanks again and have a nice / Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
