We are running web to print fullfillment for a few Deco stores DTG printing with our Kornits, it works ok but for the Kornit I prefere to have the artwork cropped to colour otherwise the Kornit will waste time printing transparent areas.
To get around this I have created a photoshop batch script that will open each .png file, crop to colour and then save.
However it would be great if you had an option inside deco to output artwork without the transparent space around the image which would save a whole step for production.
Gday Justin,
under settings > Printing > production file settings you should see the option "crop image" which will do as you are requesting.
If you specify your kornit as your printer in the machine drop down box, it will actually force that option on. As you are saying, its how the machines work best so its been coded in that way!
Unfortunately this doesn't work for us when teamnames are used. Despite we followed the instrucetion correctly, DN won't crop production files to color. Any ideas?
