We print a lot of orders from deco every day. and i actually never noticed until the other day, than when a customer uploads a perfect vector file to the designer, the production file we get is 150dpi png.. - the PNG is OK, i know where that setting is, but the 150 DPI is poor quality for printing, and we just had to redo an order, because of the small text on the design didn't come out good, and we didn't notice .. so we had to re-print every thing..
If you check the PNG production file you download, is it also 150dpi. ? any one knows how to get it to be 300dpi. ?
The production file should be coming in at the DPI configured under Production file settings for each decoration method. If it's not you may want to submit a support ticket with an order number that we can go in and review for you.
But we get all our files in 150DPI if you check with photoshop... I did make a ticket just wanna here if anybody else has the problem.
if a customer uplads a vector EPS file, then my production file is still 150 dpi..
This is how our prodcution file looks like from the sytem.. this customer originally uploaded a PDF vector file.. whih i can download from her account..
i didnt try that, but i'm sure that will solve the problem, but our mpower rather wants PNG files with transparant background.. so getting all files as PDF instead would not be a good solotion. So we need PNG 300DPI..
I've double checked and PNG production files are correctly set to the DPI setting. I definately recommend you submit a support ticket with an example order number because your issue may be related to specific products.
