Bulk Update doesn't work well

Bulk Update doesn't work well was created by smurk
Hi,

I do not know if this is just a deco glitch or has to do with DN8 but when I updated my catalogs / added new products to the back end, I selected to bulk update and make the new products / updated products inactive so we can review them, but some products turn off and others remain on...

I also noticed it took over 1.5 hours to update my catalogs / add in new products. is this the new norm?

Hey Donny,

Could u shoot me in the direcrtion of a product that didnt do as expected with the bulk update.
In terms of 1.5 hrs , seems excessive , how many products updated..?

I had to manually go in and turn off the products I didn't want on.. The next time there is a catalog update, I would like to get on a call with you guys while I update as this happened before..

trying to update again and the bulk update is literally loading 1 item at a time... Sure I have 8,000 products imported in (not all live) but this shouldn't take this long...

Update- Going on 4 hours and products are still loading 1 by one..This catalog push had 160 +/- products to add but with 8k in the back end, it lags and disappointing :(

I jumped in while your update was going on and collected some network data so the team can look at logs around that time and see if this can be sped up at all.

did another update today and I am going on about 1.5 - 2 hours.. this really sucks! any update on why it lags so bad?

Our team implemented some optimizations which have improved processing time for catalog updates. Should take minutes now instead of hours.
