Split Testing using Google Analytic's Experiments

4 years 6 months ago #14745 by RaymondoBoss
Simple question: has anybody worked with content experiments to test and improve conversions within the Deco Network environment? Does the altered analytics code work nicely with the Deco Code?
Cheers

OK been doing some invetigation and prepping for testing. Once you have set up the goal being measured and the pages that you need to split test. A snippet of code is generated in Google Analytics to put into the original version of the pages being tested.

Adding script code to your page
1. Make sure that your original and variant pages have Google Analytics tracking code installed.
2. Then paste this experiment code immediately after the opening head tag at the top of your original page.

Now as far as I can tell there is no existing way to attach a snippet of code to the header of just 1 page! Surely the developers are aware of Google A/B testing requirements? Can anybody help me work around this limitation?
