I have used this ink with over 3 years of the expiration date with no shift in colors, also I had over press them in substrates like ceramics causing the image to blur but the colors were still true specially the black, in the other hand with the Ricoh you need to used up the ink before the six months expiration or else it will cause problems, also if you over cooked a transfer and has black on it the black would turned brown, this is the only negatives I know of, besides these problems, these are great printers and money makers.
