Additional email address in Customer

The majority of our customers use different email addresses for the person ordering and the accounts depart who need the invoice, it would be great if when you setup a new customer you can list two email address so that when sending quote/order/invoice etc you can select the relevant email address or both.

Yes, we run into this all the time. Most large businesses have an accounting person who pays the invoices, but that person is never the one who originally asked for the quote, leaving it up to the customer to properly forward and explain the terms of the order to accounting. The results are never optimal.

We are actively working on the company/customer structure within Deco. This lets you create a company which is the account holder. All order and statements accumulate against the company. You can then nominate contacts within the company who are responsible for receiving email communication and making payments. We are also allowing the manager to login and manage their own contacts within a company and set allowances and what not per contact. This should fill the gap and will be available in 8.5 which is currently being developed. Cheres, Greg

That sounds great. I don't know if this will be covered also but, we run into alot of customers who wear many hats in many organizations. I Jane Smith is the marketing director at company A, she also orders shirts for her daughters Travel Softball Team, and she also puts on an annual 5K in which she is in charge of the shirts for. We need a way to attach a single contact to multiple companies. An in some scenarios the same person uses different phone numbers and emails depending on which organization they are placing the order for. We run into this issue all the time now.
